Indy Hoops Academy

My child has made strides in his game since being here. However, communicating with the coaches is extremely frustrating. There is a noticeable volume of turnover with the coaching staff ; so continuity is rare. The evaluation process for continuing players to progress and move brackets doesn’t seem to exist. It appears that players are moved around based on rapport or proximity to the decision makers. Practices are disorganized with way too many players to coach ratio. It looks more like keeping kids busy at a summer camp than actual instruction. At one point, I considered this a developmental program but now it’s just more recreational.. Good for keeping kids active but I’m not sure this is the right place for serious players. That said, the staff is nice and the program is affordable

I think that this program has a ton of potential to be great, and I’m hoping that they’re just going through some major growing pains. We had heard great things about Indy hoops and registered for the fall and winter session, and the best thing I can say to describe the experience has been highly inconsistent. We have had times where coaches have been incredible Engaged, kind, and knowledgeable, and everything you would hope to get from a coaching experience. And then, in other situations in the last few months, we have had a really poor coach that has mistreated my son, and didn’t even show up to games on time multiple times to the point that parents were coaching. When I addressed these issues with the owner over the last few months, I felt that he didn’t really care about the issues, and There was an entire month in the fall, where my son‘s team didn’t even have enough players to play games on the weekends and we had to pull kids from other teams each week, or run an entire game with no subs. I brought all of these issues up to the owner and never once was my son put on a team that was actually complete, and it’s just been a really inconsistent and very frustrating experience. W

This is an amazing program. It’s finally a program where my kid is valued even if he isn’t the top kid in the area. They aren’t all about money and fake promises like other basketball programs. Can’t wait for the new facility being built. Our Special Olympics Hamilton County Basketball team will have the opportunity to play…So excited…😊

Excellent experience for my son. The coaches are excellent and encouraging. They push him hard, and I'm confident they are training him to be his best. We've had such an amazing experience with Coach Webster's program. I watched my son's confidence explode and his basketball IQ contine to expand. I can't recommend them highly enough, as I can guarantee they will do they best thing to develop your player. Thanks so much Coach Webster!!

Great program to learn the game. Coaches engage the youth well and promote team basketball. Our son Lennon has learned so much from the program. Well worth the commitment!
